What is Gift Aid?

Gift Aid is the government scheme which enables Marwell Wildlife to increase the value of your donation by reclaiming tax at no extra cost to you. This means that up to a further 28p in every £1 can be reclaimed by Marwell Wildlife.

For example: 

You donate £10
The taxman will add £2.82 Gift Aid
Marwell Wildlife receives a total of £12.82

Am I eligible?

To qualify for Gift Aid you must be a UK tax payer and pay income tax or capital gains equal to the amount of tax claimed by Marwell Wildlife on your donation in any particular year.

If you are retired you may still pay tax on your pension and savings, so most people qualify.

How to join the Gift Aid scheme?

To make your money go even further:

• Tick the Gift Aid box when making your on-line donation to increase the value.
