History

Marwell Hall at the centre of Marwell Wildlife has three beautiful rooms which can be hired for your conference, seminar or corporate event. Marwell Hall is a Grade I listed building. Part of the building is medieval dating from the 13th century and it was owned by the Bishop of Winchester. A later resident was Sir Henry Seymour, brother of Jane Seymour, Henry VIII’s third wife. It is very probable that Henry VIII visited Marwell and it is rumoured that he had a private marriage ceremony before his official one at Marwell Hall or at Owslebury Church nearby. We will be delighted to send you a conference pack and would be pleased to show you our facilities at a time to suit you. We offer a variety of mouth- watering menus. This can range from simple coffee and cakes to a full hot meal or cold buffet. If you have your own ideas for menus we can fulfil these and special dietary needs will be catered for. You can also arrange a BBQ at the end of the day.

We can also provide illustrated talks about Marwel Wildlife or a guided tour which could form part of your memorable day. If you wish to have some fun and provide a challenge for your delegates, team building challenges on the lawns of Marwell Hall can be arranged.
