Fundraise On-line
Fundraise for Marwell Wildlife on-line with Justgiving.
Justgiving is a fun and easy-to-use website which helps you to raise fantastic amounts of money through your own personalised fundraising page.
You can use your page to collect donations for any activity or event you choose – whether it’s a sponsored challenge, running event or skydive.
Justgiving can also be used to collect donations in memory of a loved one, to celebrate a marriage, a birth or even an anniversary. Whatever the activity, it’s the perfect way to show your support of Marwell Wildlife.
Create a successful fundraising page:
- Personalise your message
What is your motivation? Tell people why you are supporting Marwell Wildlife. Encourage them to donate by explaining what we do and your link to our cause.
- Make it engaging with photos and video
Photos and videos can make your page much more engaging. Add a photo of yourself and select strong images from Marwell’s website. Youtube?
- Tell everyone about your page
An empty page can be a bit intimidating, so ask your closest friends and family to donate first. Once you have a few generous donations, email your page to your wider address book including any other contact groups you are a part of. People tend to match donation amounts already listed so your first donations are the important ones!
- Put a link in your email signature
Add your page’s web address, or one of Justgiving's 'sponsor me' badges, to your email signature to raise awareness of your fundraising efforts.
- Get a Widget or Badge
The animated justgiving Widget is a great way of promoting your fundraising on your own website, Blog, Facebook or MySpace page. Click here for guidance on installation.

FAREHAM & GOSPORT MARWELL SUPPORT GROUP
- Fareham & Gosport Marwell Support Group welcome Marwell Supporters to join them at their monthly meetings, in Fareham, at the United Reformed Church hall, on the last Wednesday of the month.
- Various speakers are booked for the monthly meetings with a Sunset Safari held at Marwell in June.

The Weather Lottery
The Weather Lottery gives participants the chance to win up to £10,000 for four days a week throughout the year, whilst raising money for Marwell. Members of the Lottery get four chances to win up to £10,000 for just £1 per week. (That's only 25p per day.). Each time the member plays they are helping Marwell raise much needed funds.
