Spooky Nature: 22 - 30 October
Come along and enjoy the wonders of nature this half term at our spooky Halloween Festival. Design your own pumpkin carving in our creative crafts area and visit our eerie maze where you can listen to tales of the unexpected with our scary storyteller and enjoy special bug encounters.
Either buy your pumpkin from our craft area pumpkin emporium or bring your own and let our master carvers turn your design into reality! Take your creations home or leave them for our animals to enjoy as we will be treating them to extra pumpkin feeds throughout the celebrations.
The Halloween festival is FREE with park entry.

TweetAnimal enrichment and Bug Encounters
Find out which of our animals are having pumpkin treats with our Halloween enrichment timetable.
Also, between 11am and 4pm daily, meet and learn about forest floor dwellers such as the Royal Python (with a special python talk at 2.15pm), giant African land snail, Madagascan hissing cockroach and giant thorny stick insect at our bug encounters!
In addition to our Halloween activities and as part of our ongoing conservation campaign, enjoy a daily Rhino talk at 3pm and find out how you can make a difference. Also, our normal Penguin feed moves to 4pm for the duration of the half term holiday.
