Summer Family Activities
Whilst visiting Marwell this August, why not pop in for one of our fun, family activities?
Based in the Education Centre, our hour-long sessions offer a chance for families to listen to a story or poem, meet one of our animals and make a craft item to take home. Activities are aimed at children aged between 5 and 9 years old and pre-booking is essential.
Morning session: 11.00 am – 12.00 noon
- Afternoon session: 2.00 – 3.00 pm
Each week we will be offering activities based on a different theme
The Amazing Amphibian session will focus on weird and wonderful amphibians, like frogs, toads, newts and salamanders. The Animal Superhero activity will look at some fascinating features and adaptations that animals have to help them survive in the wild. If you join us for the Garden Safari session, we will be learning about some of the amazing creatures you might find in your very own back garden, or school grounds.

- Week 2 (Monday 11th – Friday 15th August) Animal Superheroes
