Summer FLIGHT activities

This Summer (2-8 August and 21-30 August) there is fun for all the family at Marwell Wildlife. In support of our bird appeal for 2010, there are lots of FLIGHT themed activities in the park for all to enjoy.

grey -crowned craneAs well as visiting all of the animals, children can collect a ‘FLIGHT’ trail from our information kiosk and discover amazing facts about birds whilst walking around the park. Bird feed, talks and quiz the keeper will be taking place on a daily basis as well as bird mask making craft activities in our craft area. There’s also the chance to take part in our migration obstacle course where children can learn about our feathered friends, their migration habits and their sheer variety. All the activities are FREE*. The FLIGHT appeal will fund the restoration and conservation of woodland areas next to the park, which is a natural habitat for native and migrating wild birds.  Please view our time table of events for event timings to avoid missing out.

* normal costs apply for entry into the zoological park.

The migration obstacle couse is subject to weather conditions.
