Runs Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays Velvet Bus M service to Marwell Wildlife from Eastleigh

From Friday 29 March until Sunday 1 September 2013

Bus departs from Eastleigh railway station for Marwell Wildlife at:

10.25am, 11.25am, 12.25pm & 1.25pm

and will pick up at Fair Oak along the way.

Bus departs from Marwell Wildlife for Eastleigh railway station at:

2.45pm, 3.45pm, 4.45pm & 5.45pm

Velvet Service M to Marwell ZooThe fare will be £2.50 single, £3.50 return for adults and £1.50 single, £2.50 return for children. There will also be a £10.00 group ticket which will allow up to five people to travel together from anywhere on the Velvet network.  Fare paying passengers will enjoy a 10% discount on admission to the park when they show their valid ticket at the entrance.  Free concessionary passes are valid on the bus, but don’t give a discount on park admission.

BRIJAN TOURS No 8 bus

Monday to Saturday to Fishers Pond:

Brijan Tours No 8 bus leaves Eastleigh bus station at 14 minutes past the hour and arrives at Fishers Pond at ½ past the hour. (We are 20 minutes walk - and the road is unpaved so please be careful)

Return journey: Leaves Fishers Pond at 15.49 & 16.49 and arrives at Eastleigh bus station 16.13 and 17.13.

The above are direct services, others times are available but this would include 1 or more changes on the journey.

No Sunday Service.

The nearest train stations are Southampton Airport Parkway (7 miles), Eastleigh (5 miles) and Winchester (8 miles).

  • From M3: Junction 11 northbound and junction 11 southbound.
  • From M27: Junction 10 westbound and junction 5* eastbound.

Marwell is situated just off the B2177 (between Colden Common and Bishops Waltham).

Marwell is well signposted please follow the large brown tourist signs.

Eastleigh co-operative taxis are our preferred supplier and offer a 15% discount for passengers travelling to Marwell. They offer 4-8 seater vehicles as well as wheelchair accessible vehicles and can be reached on 02380 642321

Southampton Airport 7 miles from the park. Bournemouth Airport 36 miles. London Heathrow 61 miles. London Gatwick 65 miles.
