Recycling week
31 August - 4 September
Celebrate all things recycled at our recycling week. Take part in our ‘less than traditional’ storytelling workshops and make animal junk puppets in our craft area to take home. Almost everything is recyclable if you are creative enough, take time out to find out how.
Take time to ‘leaf a message’ on our eco-tree and share your ideas on how we can better conserve our environment.
Classic Vehicle Show
19 September

Join in the fun and enjoy our FREE classic vehicle show on 19 September. Learn about environmentally friendly travel with the latest in 'green' buses and turn back time with a mixture of classic cars and buses dating through the ages! You’ll be able to hop on board some vintage buses and check out the enthusiast market stalls. Open top tours of Winchester will also be offered during the afternoon.
*The FREE event will take place in our overflow car park. An entry fee is applicable should you wish to visit the park and enjoy more cars and buses.
IMPORTANT: Parking is strictly limited for this event. We’re offering 15% off entry to the park if you catch one of the buses making regular trips to Marwell from the Park and Rides in South Winchester, Eastleigh or Fair Oak Square - full schedule available. This is a perfect opportunity to be more sustainable and leave your car at home.
PROWL IN THE PARK
10 October
Join us for a family sponsored walk to raise money for Marwell.
Whether you toddle like a tortoise or gallop like a gazelle, enjoy the day in the park while helping us to conserve wildlife!
Participants can raise sponsorship individually or as a family.
The event will take place between 10:30am – 4:00 pm in the park and there will be a memento for all participants.
SPOOKY NATURE - HALLOWEEN FESTIVAL

et spooked by our Halloween Festival. Meet the tarantula and other creepy crawlies, lose yourself in our eery maze then design and help carve your own pumpkin . (You can either bring your own or buy one of ours). This week long celebration of all things spooky is bound to make your blood curdle!

Join us in celebrating the International Year of Biodiversity – take part in a range of fascinating activities over autumn half term including a brand new trail around the park and a biodiversity exhibition in our education centre featuring fun games for all the family and amazing microscope slides on display.
