We have launched a hunt for the Voice of Marwell to star in our radio ads for the rest of 2011 in partnership with Wave 105.2 FM.

The competition is open to children aged 5 to 12 who can write and record a radio commercial of 30 seconds and send it in for judging. There are no specific requirements other than it should be no longer than 30 seconds.

As a guideline if you are writing your own script please include the following:

• The name Marwell Wildlife (of course!)
• Our location (near Winchester)
• Open daily from 10am
• Mention of the animals we have.
• Our web address – marwell.org.uk
• Why Marwell Wildlife is an exciting place to visit

The prizes!

All entrants will receive a FREE child’s day pass to Marwell Wildlife

Up to 5 finalists will each receive….

• A family day out at Marwell Wildlife
• A Face to Face encounter with an Amur tiger, giraffe, lemur or penguin
• A "Go Wild" animal adoption
• A Marwell Wildlife goodie bag

On top of this the overall winner will also win....

• A voiceover session at Wave 105 to record them as the "Voice of Marwell"
• A starring role as the “Voice of Marwell” in our radio ads for the rest of 2011. (priceless!)
• Annual membership for 4 (2 adults and 2 x children – which replaces the family day out).
• A child's annual membership as the “Voice of Marwell” until 2014.
• A behind the scenes tour of the park.

How to enter

1: Video your child IN LOW RESOLUTION performing their advert.

NB: To ensure low resolution it’s best to use a mobile phone rather than a video camera. (If their advert features more than one voice, other people can help with the performance).

2: Email their performance, along with their name, age and your name, address and phone number to marwell@wave105.com

Alternatively post it on a CD to Wave 105 at:

If you have problems entering please contact wave105.com3: All entries must be received by midnight on Thurs 26th May.

4: All entries will be judged, and up to five finalists will be selected by a panel of judges.

5: Wave 105 listeners will then be invited to vote for the one they like best. The child with the most votes will be crowned “The Voice Of Marwell”. Only one vote per household will be registered. Please note your child’s performance may be played on air on Rick & Kate’s Big Drive Home Show, so entrance is deemed as granting your approval for this to occur.
