“Visited 17th September had a wonderful day, there from 10 until 5, could easily spend a couple of days observing the animals. As a profoundly deaf person it would have been great to be able to participate in the animal talks but sadly there is no facility i.e. loop systems currently in situ. It would be wonderful if this could be looked into with a view to organising for future visits so all people can fully experience the delights of Marwell Zoo. I'm sure many of the deaf charities would be happy to advise and mobile loop systems are available at a reasonable cost which would allow at least hearing aid users to participate. Perhaps even a member of staff could learn some BSL for future talks too? Thanks for reading this Sue :} ”

Hello Sue, Thank you for your feedback. We're delighted to hear you enjoyed your visit. We do have induction loops at our ring-tailed coatis and Wildlife Rangers talks in Wild Explorers. Further to your feedback, we'll make these more obvious for deaf visitors. Thanks again and hope to see you again in the future.
