Ticket Prices
The following education rates apply to those in formal education, during Hampshire LEA term times, Monday to Friday.
Groups who are eligible for education rates: EYFS and KS 1 – 5 (up to A Level equivalent).
Please Note:
- School term dates differ from zoo seasonal dates.
- Children under 3 will not be charged.
- Home education groups are eligible for a different discounted rate. For more information visit our Home Education page.
- Higher education groups (those studying at Level 4 and above) are eligible for a different discounted rate. For more information visit our Higher Education page.

30-Minute Workshop Pricing
For EYFS and SEND Groups.
Include a 30-Minute EYFS Sally’s Journey or Rainforest Friends or a SEND Sensory Workshop with your Self-Guided Park Visit (up to 30 per session). Each session can accommodate up to 30 pupils, but we would recommend group sizes of 20 for a better experience for the children.

Staff and Helpers for Education Visits
Our free adult ratios are set low to allow groups to bring sufficient support, without adding additional costs to your trip. We do not stipulate this is how many we require you to bring, as long as you keep in with your school’s trip policy on ratios and allow appropriate supervision of your group at all times.
- One free adult with every three students (for pupils who are 3+).
- Free carers/helpers for all students with special educational needs (for pupils who are 3+).
- Additional adults: These are charged at the same entry rate as the pupils.
- Eligible for schools, colleges, pre-schools and nurseries.
Looking for coach hire?
Lucketts Group, part of National Express Transport Solutions, are offering discounted rates on coaches booked between 9am/9.15am to 3pm/4pm. The coach sizes range from 49 to 85-seater coaches, depending on where they are travelling from and rates start at £295.

Please be aware Marwell Wildlife do not have an official partnership with Lucketts Group. Other coach companies are available and we’d advise on gathering quotes before you make your booking. Your booking with Marwell and Lucketts Group will be separate. Booking through one, does not guarantee a booking with the other.
Payment Details
Invoicing
All bookings will be invoiced after visit. There is a £5 + VAT admin fee for this.
If your school uses purchase order numbers, then we require this at the time of booking. Your admin/finance department will know how to do this.

Cancellations
To give the maximum amount of groups access to our workshops we keep prices low and plan ahead. Should you wish to cancel or move an education session please help us by doing so as soon as possible, but at least 4-weeks prior to your visit date. Please note: you may be charged for any cancellations or date changes made within the 4-week period.
