Connect with Nature

There are so many ways to connect with, understand and truly experience nature. Our future is shared with our planet and we cannot thrive without it. Once we recognise this, we can start to make meaningful changes for the benefit of the Earth, people, animals, and nature as a whole. Our planet is currently facing a climate crisis, but together we can start to heal the damage to ecosystems and biodiversity.

Research proves that connecting with nature can benefit us all in many different ways:

  • Improved mental wellbeing
  • Changing our behaviour to benefit the environment
  • Greater happiness
  • Encouraged pro-nature behaviours
  • Greater life satisfaction
  • View of a greater purpose in life

In keeping with the theme of our new exhibit ‘Thriving Through Nature’, we’ve collated some additional resources to help you connect with nature below!
