Special Educational Needs

We offer inclusive hubs out in the zoo suitable for children working at or towards Pre-key stage standards, which can be led by educators with specialist training in SEND, Autism Awareness and Makaton.

We also offer sensory and immersive sessions for children and young adults working to the Engagement Model or pre-key stage standards. These sessions are held within our Science and Learning centre classrooms using a range of bioartefacts and live animals (subject to availability).

Hubs

All of our sessions can be differentiated to ensure they are fully accessible for pupils across mainstream and SEND settings. SEND trained staff are available on request (subject to availability).
