Home Educators are invited to join us for immersive hands-on activities during our special home education weeks.
Home Educator self-guided visit prices
The following education rates apply to home educators, during Hampshire terms times, Monday – Friday. They are also available to Ofsted registered child minders. Tickets can be bought online only, up to 2pm on the day you wish to visit.

Home Education ticket terms and conditions
- In order to qualify for home educator rates, you must pre-book your tickets online.
- Please remember tickets bought are non-refundable and non-transferable to any other date.
- We are unable to offer a refund for anyone in your party who doesn’t turn up on the day.
- In order to qualify for home educator rates, your whole group must enter the zoo together.
- We admit one FREE carer per special needs, home educated child (aged 3 and over). You must provide proof of accessibility needs at the Admissions Gate. Without proof you will be required to pay the adult entry rate.
- Children aged 2 and under are FREE.
- Children aged 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
- Tickets are for general zoo entry and are not valid for selected special events such as Glow Marwell.
- Dogs and pets are not permitted in the zoo (except fully trained assistance dogs) and are not to be left in your car
