Education
Plan a wild school trip to Marwell Zoo!
Step out of the classroom and immerse yourself in the natural world with a school trip to Marwell Zoo.
Explore at your leisure with a self-guided tour or choose from one of our interactive guided sessions, available for early years to higher education.
With amazing animals and unforgettable encounters, we inspire young people to become guardians of nature, empowered to protect our precious wild world.
NEW: Calling all explorers!
New for 2025/26, early years and primary students are invited to embark on Expedition Marwell. Step into the footsteps of Professor Seymour, an explorer from Marwell’s past, and set off on a hands-on adventure around the zoo – with the option to add on a side quest with one of our most popular animals!
When students visit, they’ll BE MORE connected to nature, DO MORE to protect it, and SEE MORE of what is around them.

Guided Sessions
We offer a variety of curriculum-linked sessions, workshops and conferences, from Early Years all the way through to Higher Education.

Self-Guided Park Visits
If you just want to book entry to the zoo for your educational group, without any extra workshops or sessions, a self-guided park visit is for you.

Home Education
Take advantage of our home educator ticket rates for self-guided park visits, or join us at one of our special home educator events.

Free Resources
We offer a range of downloadable resources for students from Primary to Post 16.
