The Long Room
Named after Sir William Long, who completed Marwell Hall as we see it today, the Long Room is light and airy, with tall mullioned windows, an impressive fireplace and decorative cornicing.
The perfect location for a classic, elegant ceremony.
Seymour Library
Adjoining the Long Room, you’ll find the stately Seymour Library. A beautifully detailed space lined with bookshelves and crowned by a richly decorated ceiling, the room’s two large windows and grand doorways create a warm yet stately atmosphere.
The ornate fireplace bears the coat of arms of the Seymour family, who owned Marwell Hall from 1551 to 1638.
Woodlock Room
Named after Walter Woodlock, who built the original medieval hall in the 14th century, the intimate Woodlock Room features a charming fireplace and deep mullioned windows.
Secret Garden and Marquee
Hidden away to the side of Marwell Hall, you’ll find the naturally romantic setting of the Secret Garden and its elegant marquee, which provides a versatile space for you to make your celebration your own.
