Choose a project. Cast your vote. Help support animal care and habitats at Marwell Zoo.

From 23 July to 30 September 2026, Marwell members, guests and supporters can take part in Vote Wild – a fundraising campaign that lets you help decide where funding goes. From animal care and veterinary expertise to plants and habitats, Vote Wild celebrates the teams who help Marwell Zoo, and the animals in our care, thrive every day.

Six teams from across the zoo will present practical ideas, equipment or improvements that would benefit the animals and habitats they support. The project with the most votes will receive £5,000 to bring their idea to life.

How Vote Wild works

Six projects. One £5,000 prize pot. Every vote counts.

Teams from across the zoo have submitted projects or equipment that would make a difference to the animals and habitats they support. Each project explains what the team needs, how it will be used, and the impact it will have.

Vote for the project you want to see funded:

Vote in-zoo: pick up a token and place it into the project box you want to support in the Gift Shop.

Donate online: give to your chosen team via the dedicated project donation page (every £1 donated = 1 vote).
