Design a snow window at Marwell!

Calling all young artists! Could your artwork become part of Christmas at Marwell: Fire & Ice?

We’re looking for young artists aged 8-15 to create a nature-inspired snow window design for our 2026 Christmas event. Whether you are inspired by snowy landscapes, icy scenes, winter wildlife or the magic of the festive season, we’d love to see your creativity come to life (snow leopards are already covered, so get creative!).

How to enter:

  • Download and print the Snow Window design template (attached below as a PDF).
  • Complete your nature-inspired design using the template provided.
  • Email your completed design to events@marwell.org.uk by 30 September 2026.
  • Please include your name, age and a contact phone number in your email.

The prize:

  • Four tickets to visit Fire & Ice and see their artwork on the trail.
  • An invitation for the winner and one guest to an exclusive preview evening on 19 November 2026.

Terms and Conditions of competition entry

The Snow Window Design Competition is open to children aged 8-15 years. Entries must be received by 11:59pm on 30 September 2026. Entries received after the closing date may not be considered.

Please download and use the official Snow Window Design Template and email your completed design to events@marwell.org.uk. Your entry must include the entrant’s name, age and a contact phone number. One entry per person.

The winning design will be selected by Marwell’s Snow Window artist. The judge’s decision is final.

By entering the competition, you agree that Marwell Wildlife may display the winning design at Christmas at Marwell – Fire & Ice and use images of the artwork, along with the winner’s first name and age, for promotional purposes across our website, social media channels and other marketing materials.

The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable and no cash alternative will be offered.

Marwell Wildlife reserves the right to amend, suspend or withdraw the competition if circumstances make this necessary.

The winner will receive:

  • Their design recreated as a snow window panel at Christmas at Marwell – Fire & Ice.
  • Four tickets to visit Christmas at Marwell – Fire & Ice and see their artwork on display.
  • An invitation for the winner and one guest to an exclusive preview evening on 19 November 2026.
