Whatever the weather, adventure awaits

Our flexible summer offer gives the freedom to visit on a day that suits you. But the good news is that Marwell is a fantastic day out, whatever the forecast has in store.

Visiting on a sunny day?

A sunny day calls for ice creams and picnics!

It’s also the perfect opportunity to discover desert-adapted species like the addax and Arabian oryx, which live in habitats with temperatures that can reach above 45°C.

When you need to cool off, there are plenty of indoor animal habitats to explore, as well as shady spots for a picnic.

Visiting on a rainy day?

Don’t let a little rain put you off. Some of our animals are more active in wet weather, so it can be a great time to spot snow leopards and other carnivores exploring their habitats.

There are plenty of places to take shelter too. Warm up with a hot drink in Keeper’s Kitchen, or escape to the the toasty Tropical House, where you might spot a sloth!

Grab your waterproofs, splash through the puddles, and get ready for an unforgettable adventure.

Kids Go Half Price Offer

  • This offer is valid on visits between 25 July – 30 September 2026, excluding 29 – 31 August 2026.
  • One half price child ticket is available per full paying adult ticket purchased.
  • This offer only applies to full price Marwell Zoo day tickets booked online in advance at marwell.org.uk. This does not apply to any third party tickets including but not limited to Kids Pass, Blue Light, gift tickets, staff friends and family, complimentary tickets, raffle prize tickets, advanced group bookings, adoption tickets, school tickets, home education, any special event tickets or day tickets purchased at our admissions gate.
  • Tickets must be booked online in advance – the offer is not available on the gate.
  • Children under 2 go FREE and do not need a ticket.
  • Children up to and including the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Tickets are eligible for upgrade to Annual Membership. T&Cs apply.
  • This offer can be used in conjunction with the Fully Flexible Ticket Offer and the 15% Off Kids Meals Offer, but it cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
  • Normal Marwell Zoo Day Ticket visitor terms and conditions apply.
