Winter at Marwell

1st - 24th December 2020

Wrap up warm and get closer to the wonders of the natural world this winter with a magical visit to Marwell Zoo.

Father Christmas and his elves are sadly unable to visit Marwell this year, however there will be plenty of festive cheer around the zoo.

Discover more about our hundreds of endangered animals such as our curious meerkats, stunning snow leopards, towering Rothschild’s giraffe and magnificent rhinos around our 140 acre park.

Don’t miss a trip to our Energy for Life: Tropical House where you can experience exotic plants, free-flying colourful birds and meet Rica, our Linne’s two-toed sloth.

As dusk falls, our Grade 1 listed Marwell Hall will be a beautiful spectrum of Christmas colour.

Capture the perfect family photo as a lasting memory of the day beside a princess carriage filled with firefly fairylights, Santa’s sleigh with flying reindeers or our enchanting display of Christmas trees.

We’d love to see your family Christmas Card selfies so dress in your finest festive costumes and enter our competition for the chance to win a £100 John Lewis hamper. More details to come!

We’ll be spreading some festive cheer on our social media channels with our 12 Days of Christmas, giveaways and more so make sure you follow us and share snaps of your cosy winter days out.

We are a charity zoo so simply by visiting you’ll be giving something back this Christmas and directly helping our amazing projects to conserve habitats and species in the UK and around the world.

When you book, please choose to make a ten percent donation and tick the Gift Aid box as this means we are able to reclaim tax from the Government on the full ticket price– that’s an extra 25 per cent to help us secure the future of wildlife for generations to come at no extra cost to you. Without your support, we cannot claim back any tax at all.
