We’re on the fringe of the South Downs National Park and very well connected!
It might be a stretch to say that all roads lead to Marwell but the park is within easy reach of two motorways and rail stations and only 8 miles from Winchester. If you’re looking for things to do in the Bournemouth (40 miles) or Southampton (10 miles) areas it’s the perfect choice. We’re also just a stone’s throw from the New Forest (16 miles) and Portsmouth (19 miles).
Travel by bus and we’d be delighted to reward you with a 10% discount on park entry when you show your ticket at admissions.
Here are the current options for bus travel:

Marwell zoo is pretty big (140 acres of beautiful Hampshire parkland to explore) and whilst we’d recommend that you allow at least 4-5 hours for your visit, you might like to slow the pace down even further and make a weekend of it. If that’s the case then the safari themed Marwell Hotel is located right on our doorstep. Alternatively:
We thought it was brilliant, great support for disabled access, animals looked well looked after, clean, set in lovely countryside, good signage, lots of interesting info about the animals, lots of places to get refreshments, we'll definitely come again Tina Lee, 4th January 2017
