From 5.30pm – 9pm, on selected dates throughout the summer, we invite you to explore the zoo after-hours with an guided tour from our expert team.
With only 50 tickets available per evening, these intimate events offer a magical zoo experience after hours.
Our photographer will be on hand to capture the atmosphere, and you’ll receive a link to download beautiful photos after the event, creating lasting memories of this truly unique way to experience the zoo.
Your Summer Evening includes:
- Expert-led two-hour guided walking tour
- An opportunity to meet members of our animal care team
- Relaxed Italian-style buffet at Café Graze

Your evening includes:

Please tell us at the time of booking if you or your guests have food allergies, intolerances, or dietary requirements, and we’ll do our best to help.
Allergens: While some dishes may not include specific allergens as ingredients, all food is prepared in a shared kitchen where cross-contamination may occur. If you have any questions or concerns, please speak to a member of our team on the night – we’re always happy to help.

The tour will follow our regular pathways, but Marwell is nestled on the edge of the South Downs, so be prepared for a few hills!

- Warm layers – even summer evenings can get chilly!
Children & Families
Summer Evenings are recommended for children aged 8+, but all children are very welcome (except on our Adults Only dates).
Children aged 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Summer Evenings Terms & Conditions
- Your Summer Evening will begin at 5.30pm. Please meet us in the plaza, outside Marwell Stores and The Keeper’s Kitchen, where you’ll be welcomed by our friendly team.
- Summer Evenings are a guided zoo experience, with the opportunity for you to see parts of the zoo after hours. Groups are kindly asked to stay together to make the most of the evening.
- Summer Evenings are stand-alone experiences and zoo admission during the day is not included in this package.
- To ensure the best possible experience for you and your guests, we reserve the right to alter the route of your guided walk and/or venue of your dinner.
- If the zoo becomes unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control, we will make every effort to offer an alternative date. In the event that we are unable to reschedule, we promise to provide a full refund.
- Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable, unless the event is cancelled or moved to a different date.
