Whatever the weather, summer adventures await

July 24, 2026

Summer's Sorted, Whatever the weather! Kids go half price, and enjoy a fully flexible ticket when you buy online and visit by 30 Sept 2026

We’re inviting families to make unforgettable memories this summer, whatever the weather, with a new ticket promotion designed to take the stress out of planning a day out and stretch budgets.

Launching today, the new digital-only offer encourages visitors to book online to not only give greater flexibility throughout the school holidays and into September, but with a budget boosting half-price ticket for children with a paying adult.

From Saturday 25 July 2026, families can take advantage of the new Fully Flexible Ticket, allowing you to buy now and decide later exactly when you want to visit. The ticket can be used on any day until 30 September 2026, excluding the August Bank Holiday weekend (Saturday 29 August to Monday 31 August), giving you the freedom to choose a day that suits both your schedule and your preferred weather.

By offering greater flexibility, we hope to remove one of the biggest barriers to booking a day out during the summer holidays – the uncertainty of the British weather. Rather than worrying about picking the “perfect” day weeks in advance, you can secure your tickets early and decide when to visit based on the forecast that works best for you.

Snow leopard cub with mother Zaya at Marwell Zoo

With new animals to meet, including our two capybara Ripple and Tango, two baby snow leopard cubs and a baby white rhino – there’s so much to see and do.

Marwell’s Director of Marketing and Sales Sarah Berry said: “Summer is all about spending quality time together, but we know that planning family days out can sometimes feel like a gamble with the British weather. That’s why this summer we don’t care what the weatherman says!

“Our new flexible offers give families the confidence to book ahead while still choosing the day that works best for them. Whatever the weather, there’s always something special to experience at Marwell. Whether you’re exploring our indoor and outdoor habitats, meeting our playful snow leopard cubs and much-anticipated capybaras, or spotting our baby rhino, every visit helps protect wildlife by supporting our conservation work here at the zoo, across the UK and around the world, while giving families the chance to connect with nature and create lasting memories.”

Elephant rave at Marwell Zoofest

We also have a packed programme of fun during the summer with our launch of Zoofest. From now until Monday 31 August 2026, families can enjoy festival-inspired fun with music, games, crafts and surprises around every corner – there’s even a larger-than-life dancing elephant!

A mini green 4x4 electric off road vehicle with a Marwell Wildlife logo at Marwell Zoo

And new for this summer is the Mini Beast Safari. New Marwell 4×4 off road vehicles allow mini explorers to set off on their adventures suitable for youngsters aged between four and 14 with children under six needing to ride with someone aged 12 or over.

Whether it’s sunshine, showers or something in between, Marwell Zoo promises a day filled with amazing animals, unforgettable encounters and opportunities to connect with nature.
