Seasonal roles

Cleaner (Environmental Services Assistant)

Two exciting opportunities have arisen for Environmental Services Assistants to join our dedicated and professional Guest Services Team. These roles would be available on an annualised hours basis which will involve working varied hours and shift patterns each week. Predominantly the hours would be 3-4 days per week between 7am -3pm. The hourly rate for this role is £7.83 and weekend working would be required.

The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest areas within the park to a high standard, ensuring our guests have an exceptional visitor experience. 

As a guest focused attraction, providing outstanding guest service at all times is an essential part of this role, therefore the successful candidate must have a proven track record of providing excellent customer service. Due to the need to drive park vehicles, candidates must also hold a full driving license valid for the UK.

Work Experience

If you are interested in keeper work experience please read the following carefully before contacting us.

All work experience positions within the animal department for 2018 are now filled. Placements for 2019 will be considered in November 2018

Applications for 2019 should be submitted no earlier than 1 November 2018.   For further information please contact our Registrar

Marwell runs an unpaid work experience keeper scheme from the beginning of March to August each year for a period of two weeks only.

Placements are limited to students over the age of 17 years and who are already studying an animal related course.

For Sparsholt College (Winchester) students - applications should be made to your tutor direct at the beginning of November of the year prior to the period of work experience required.

To be considered for a position please complete the application form , attach a copy of your CV and send to our Registrar.

All work experience students must fulfil all of the above criteria and be able to produce a letter from their tutor confirming their appropriate course and be able to attend an interview before being considered for a placement .

Veterinary student applications

We currently have limited availability for veterinary student placements, and can only provide clinical EMS. Priority is given to vet students enrolled with the University of Surrey. However, where possible, the vet team will consider 4th and final year vet students, from other Universities. Earlier years cannot be accommodated at present.
