Adopting an animal at Marwell Zoo allows you to help endangered species across the world that need it the most. Snow leopards are rarely sighted animals and can be found in Central and Southeast Asia high up in the mountain regions. Your donations and sponsorships help the conservation of these shy and seldom seen animals.
As well as being home to a snow leopard, Marwell Zoo also helps snow leopards and other animals across the globe. Many of the habitats and species we support are focussed in the South of England, China and Africa, as well as other locations of importance, including Asia, where snow leopards can be found. Taking part in our animal experiences or choosing to adopt an animal allows us to raise important funds to help continue our efforts to support more and more endangered animals.
Snow leopards use their long bushy tail to wrap themselves up in while they are resting to keep their paws and head warm.
