Guest update: Storm Ciaran

Guest update 2/11/2023: We have fortunately avoided the worst of Storm Ciaran and we’re pleased to say that we’ll be open tomorrow Friday 3 November as normal.

Thanks to all of our dedicated animal and grounds teams for keeping all of our animals comfortable, safe and well fed during the storm. We would like to thank everyone for their support, as always and look forward to welcoming you soon!

Due to the predicted high wind speeds and adverse weather from Storm Ciaran, Marwell Zoo will be closed to all guests on Thursday 2 November as a precautionary measure.

We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused and reassure everyone that the safety of our animals, staff and guests are our top priority.

We expect to be open as usual on Friday 3 November and will update our website and social media if the situation changes.

Anyone with pre-booked tickets for Thursday 2 November will be contacted and offered an alternative date.
