Design a Dodo Competition
Design a dodo for a chance to win tickets to our Glow Marwell winter light trail!
To tie in with our summer holiday brick adventure, Extinction, we invite you to step into the shoes of a master builder and create a dodo inspired by your visit to Marwell Zoo.
Whether you take inspiration from the 8 dodos you find on the Extinction trail, or come up with a totally new design, we want to see your creations!
The winner will receive 4 tickets to our spectacular nature light trail Glow Marwell, which will see the zoo transform into a twinkling wonderland with illuminated animal sculptures and dazzling light shows on selected dates this winter.
All ages are welcome to enter, and entries close on Sunday 7 September 2025.

Design a Dodo Competition Terms and Conditions
- One entry per person.
- Entry is free of charge.
- One winner will win 4 Standard entry tickets to the Glow Marwell light trail, worth up to £99.80.
- Tickets are valid for one Standard date of Glow Marwell, which takes place on selected dates from Friday 28 November 2025 – Saturday 3 January 2026. The winner will be asked to select their visit date when they claim their prize. The prize cannot be claimed on Peak dates.
- Please note the prize does not include the Santa’s Grotto experience.
- Glow Marwell Terms & Conditions will apply.
- The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and non-refundable. Cannot be exchanged for cash value.
- The competition will close at 23:59 on Sunday 7 September 2025.
- The winner will be contacted by email after the competition has closed. If no response is received within 7 days, a new winner will be selected.
- Marwell Wildlife disclaims responsibility for any lost or delayed entries.
- Employees of Marwell Wildlife and their immediate families are not eligible.
- Marwell Wildlife reserves the right to amend or cancel the competition or these terms and conditions at any time, without prior notice.
