Our gigantic Woolly Mammoth sculpture weighs 832kg and took 8 builders 1200 hours to make… but can you guess how many toy bricks they used to make it?

Send us your best guess for a chance to win four Explorer memberships to Marwell Zoo – giving you year-round entry to the zoo*, discounts in our gift shop and catering outlets, access to special member events, and more.

All ages are welcome to enter, and entries close on Sunday 7 September 2025.

A Mammoth Brick Guess Competition Terms and Conditions

• One entry per person.
• Entry is free of charge.
• The winner will be the participant who correctly guesses the number of bricks in Marwell Zoo’s Woolly Mammoth sculpture.
• If no participant guesses the exact number, the closest guess will be declared the winner.
• In the event of a tie, a random draw will determine the winner from the correct entries.
• One winner will win four Explorer memberships to Marwell Zoo, valid for 12 months from the date of announcing the winner.
• Explorer memberships that can be chosen from are: Adult (worth £85), Child (worth £75), Concession (worth £75).
• Membership Terms & Conditions will apply.
• The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and non-refundable. Cannot be exchanged for cash value.
• The competition will close at 23:59 on Sunday 7 September 2025.
• The winner will be contacted by email after the competition has closed. If no response is received within 7 days, a new winner will be selected.
• Marwell Wildlife disclaims responsibility for any lost or delayed entries.
• Employees of Marwell Wildlife and their immediate families are not eligible.
• Marwell Wildlife reserves the right to amend or cancel the competition or these terms and conditions at any time, without prior notice.
