Firewalk FAQs
Is the fire walk safe?
Yes! The fire walk is led by trained professionals who will guide you through every step of the process. It’s a safe and controlled experience that has been enjoyed by thousands of participants.
Do I need any special training or experience?
No prior experience is required! You’ll receive full training and support on the day of the event, ensuring you feel confident and ready.
Can I take part if I’m not very fit?
Yes! The fire walk is a mental challenge, not a physical one. As long as you can walk and follow instructions, you’ll be able to take part.
What’s the minimum age to take part?
The minimum age is 14 years old. Under 16s will need parental consent.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothing and sturdy shoes for the pre-walk activities.
When it’s time for the fire walk, you’ll walk barefoot on the embers (don’t worry, we’ll guide you on how to do it safely). Shoes, socks and tights etc will need to be removed, and you’ll be asked to roll up the bottom of your trousers. Your feet will get sooty, so bring socks and shoes you don’t mind putting back on. Light/pale coloured clothing will show up best in photographs.
Please do not use creams or foot sprays on your feet on the day of your fire walk.
