The Summer Food Festival will be showcasing the very best produce that Hampshire has to offer on Sunday 15 June 2025.
From delicious shortbread and honey, to local wine and cheese, foodie fans – and animal lovers – can explore an amazing range of Hampshire Fare stalls.
More than 20 producers will be at Marwell Hall in the zoo coinciding with Father’s Day – an added treat for all those foodie dads!
Opening times are the same as the zoo – 10am-5pm – and the majority of the stalls will be on Marwell Hall drive, Tudor Rose Hall and in the Marquee in the Secret Garden (behind Marwell Hall). The Summer Food Festival is included within your zoo ticket.
Some stalls will be on the plaza outside the new Keeper’s Kitchen which can be visited without buying a ticket to the zoo.
Natasha Dochniak, commercial manager of the non-profit making Hampshire Fare, said: “We’re delighted to be partnering with Marwell Zoo for their Summer Food Festival, especially on Father’s Day! It’s a fantastic opportunity to showcase some of Hampshire’s most exciting producers in a setting the whole family will love.
“From honey to cheese, tea to tipples, there’s something for every taste – and perhaps a few gifts that will earn you ‘favourite child’ status. Our collaboration with Marwell has been a real highlight this year, especially supporting their new Keeper’s Kitchen and shop in championing local food and drink.”
Some of the producers who’ll be at Marwell on Sunday include, Bluestone Vineyards, Catch A Fire Pizzas, Fordingbridge Fudge, Hambledon Vineyard, Little Bee Bakery, New Forest Shortbread, The Book and Bucket Cheese Company and Mozzo Coffee.
