The lesser known BOGOF has arrived just in time for the summer

It may not be a creature from far off lands, but it is an exclusive treat for animal lovers to have two wild days out for the price of one!

We have launched the double fun, Buy One Get One Free, offer for anyone who books an online day ticket to visit Extinction from now (Tuesday 12 August) until the end of the summer holidays. In return you will enjoy a free trip to the zoo on a separate day until 27 November 2025 – including October half term!

Extinction is our summer trail and is a world-first collection of extinct animals crafted from more than two million toy bricks, including fantastic creatures such as a sabre-toothed tiger, giant mammoth and howling dire wolf.

Visiting explorers collect a free map and journey across the zoo’s 140 acres of parkland to meet more than 20 life-sized recreations of the animals that once roamed the Earth.

There are plenty of photo opportunities, including the chance to pose with a giant dinosaur egg and transform into a dodo. Inside Brick Base Camp, you can help build a massive sabre-toothed tiger and craft your own mini mammoth or dodo to take home.

Enthusiasts will also be able to test their knowledge along the Extinction trail, with a host of fascinating facts and build stats at every turn.

The online offer is valid for all tickets purchased on marwell.org.uk and runs from Tuesday 12 August until Sunday 7 September 2025, with the free return visit valid on any date until Thursday 27 November 2025.

Visitors must book online. Guests will need to bring their original booking confirmation email and valid ID into the gift shop, Marwell Stores, to receive their free tickets on the return visit. T&Cs apply.
