Day Ticket Terms & Conditions

Tickets purchased are valid for the date you specify you would like to visit. Please check our operating hours for opening times. Children under the age of three go FREE. Children up to and including the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Once payment has been confirmed, tickets booked online are reserved for collection at the park when you bring your confirmation number with you. Proof of age and/or disability will be required upon entry for student, senior and disabled guests. One helper is admitted free for every paying guest with a disability.

Marwell operates a policy of no refunds or exchanges for tickets bought at admissions, booked online or by telephone. Tickets are valid only for the date they are booked and cannot be transferred to another date. We cannot refund tickets for the reason of adverse weather conditions. Credit/debit card transactions are made on a separate secure server, with full encryption of all credit card data. Your credit card details and personal information will not be shared with any other company or organisation. Use of the ticket implies agreement with our park guidelines. The ticket remains the property of Marwell and is not for re-sale, is non-refundable and non-transferable. The management reserves the right to refuse admission to any ticket holder and, in the interest of the public and for safety reasons, we also reserve the right to request guests to leave the park at any time.

Please note: Our animal enclosures are designed with animal welfare in mind to give them as varied an environment as we can. It is recommended that if at first you cannot see a particular animal, that you carry on with your visit and return again later in the day when the animal may have moved closer. Gift Ticket Terms & Conditions

Gift tickets are valid for 12 months from the day of issue, and enable the visitor to visit once throughout that period. They are valid for park entry only. Children aged 2 and under go FREE and do not need a ticket. Children up to and including the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. We do not sell concession gift tickets.

When your payment has been confirmed your tickets will be sent to the address specified. Please allow up to 5 working days. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure that the information you have supplied to us is accurate prior to making a purchase. We are only responsible for issuing gift tickets in accordance with the information you provide. The gift ticket remains the property of Marwell Wildlife and is not for re-sale, is non-refundable and non-extendable. Gift tickets can be upgraded to annual membership within two weeks of your visit to the value of at least £13.62 for an adult ticket and £10.45 for a child ticket.

Use of the ticket implies agreement with our park guidelines. The management reserves the right to refuse admission to any ticket holder and, in the interest of the public and for safety reasons, we also reserve the right to request guests to leave the park at any time.

Christmas Event terms and conditions

  • All tickets and non transferrable and non refundable
  • No extra tickets can be brought on the day of your booking.
  • Additional guests who arrive with a pre- booked party will be denied access to the experience.
  • On arrival at the Christmas Experience all booked guests will be check in by our welcome elf.
  • Annual members must bring their cards as proof of ID to gain admission to the zoo. Sorry - you'll be asked to pay the full admission price without it.
  • Children from 0 -15 years will receive a gift from Father Christmas.
  • Marwell Zoo is open from 10am-4pm throughout the Christmas event.
  • If you choose to visit the zoo on the day of your evening booking then you will be charged normal entry, asked to leave at closing time and then invited to return to the front gate at your session time.
  • Please be aware that space is limited in the Hall so you’ll need to leave your pushchair or buggy in the undercover shelter provided outside. Please note that Marwell Zoo takes no responsibility for items left in the buggy park. All items left are at your own risk.
  • Please be aware that refunds and changes to bookings won't be available once your booking has been processed. Lost tickets cannot be replaced.
  • Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied at all times by an adult aged 18 or over.
  • Please note that your name and contact details are recorded and maybe used for updating you on future events and further information regarding Marwell Wildlife. Should you not wish to be contacted please make this clear at your time of booking.
  • Pets of any kind (excluding fully registered guide dogs) are regrettably not permitted within the zoo or on the zoo premises.
  • Should the event and/or zoo need to close due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. extreme weather) the event will be cancelled & all guests will be notified at the earliest opportunity. However, if the zoo and event remain open during such circumstances, refunds will not be given.
  • Please note that annual members only qualify for return day tickets when paying for an evening slot.
  • Please be aware that annual membership must be valid at the time of booking and at the time of the event to qualify for the discounted ticket price.
  • Please note all personal belongings need to be taken around with you through the event, no belongings are to be left unsupervised.
  • Please be aware that refreshments are included in the ticket price. If you or your guests have a known allergy we advise that you do not partake in consuming any refreshments. In the event of an allergic reaction or illness resulting from consuming refreshments, Marwell take no responsibility.
  • Please inform the events team on booking of any mobility requirements, as transport and access around the experience are restricted.
  • Guests who book the 4.15pm, 5pm, 5.45pm and 6.30pm sessions will not receive daytime access to Marwell on the day of their booking but will receive an equivalent day ticket for the park valid until 17 March 2018. No extension will be given on the date of the return tickets, and lost tickets will not be replaced.
  • Please note the zoo is closed from 4.00pm, guests attending evening Christmas sessions are not permitted to access the zoo.
  • Evening guests will be collected from admissions 15 minutes prior to the start of their session time, the Santa express is subject to availability and in the event it is not available other arrangements will be made.
